50 Burpee Contest

How fast can you do 50 burpees?
(Hint: It’s much harder than you think)

To enter to win, you must film yourself, upload it to YouTube, and post your link below.
Be sure to have proper form or it’ll be rejected.

Contest ends August 31, 2011
(Gives a little time to prep!)

A full burpee needs a full pushup, chest hitting or within 1″ inch from the ground and end in a jump squat with the full body leaving the floor.

If you don’t know what a burpee is, John Romaniello and I demonstrate it in the video below.  Good luck!

    That form is a bit wrong still ok but the correct form is with feet touching (note: I hardly do burrpees but still can do them but you should make the contest say 10 one arm pistils proper form now I am 14 years old and can only do one onearm pushup proper (still working on it))

    HI ARNEL, I AM MIGUEL FROM MEXICO. I THINK IT IS A GOOD IDEA, BUT TO MAKE THIS CHALLENGE FAIR YOU SHOULD ADD SOME RULES. FOR EXEMPLE, THE HIGHER YOU JUMP WHEN YOU GET UP FROM THE PUSH UP, YOU ARE GIONG TO GET TIRE FASTER. SO I THINK IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO SET A STANDAR FOR THE JUMP.

    Whassup Arnel!
    I am posting this message wondering what happened to the results of the contest. It seems like there was not a big turnout. I have been following you for a couple of years now and I know that you do have a lot of followers.
    I actually think it IS because it was much harder than people thought and a very limited amount of people put the work. In the end it should give even more value to the people that did make the effort to train for the contest and we should get even more props than expected.
    Please give us an update.
